To facilitate bookings, certain information about you is visible to other users. The specific information shared depends on your role:
- Horse owners can see hauler and stable profiles, including name, photo, business name, service area, equipment, ratings, and reviews
- Haulers and stables can see owner names, general location, horse details relevant to a booking, and booking-specific communications
- Your public profile information (name, photo, review history, ratings) is visible to other Platform users
- Your precise home address, financial details, and full contact information are never shared directly between users without your consent
4.2 Service Providers
We share information with trusted third-party vendors who help us operate the Platform, under contractual obligations to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify. These include:
- Payment processors (Stripe, Inc.) — for payment and payout processing
- Cloud infrastructure providers (AWS) — for data storage and hosting
- Email and SMS delivery services — for transactional and notification messages
- Mapping and routing services (Mapbox) — for route planning and trip tracking

- Location tracking data from active trips — for up to 12 months after trip completion
- Reviews and User Content — until removed by the user or TackGo, or until account deletion
- Communications and support tickets — for up to 3 years after the last interaction
- Security and fraud logs — for up to 2 years
When your data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it. Please note that some information may persist in backup archives for a limited period.

We take the security of your information seriously and implement a range of technical and organizational safeguards, including:

- Hashed storage of all passwords using industry-standard algorithms

- Access and correction: You may access and update most of your account information directly in your account settings.
- Account deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us at privacy@tackgo.com. We will process your request within 30 days, subject to our legal retention obligations.
- Marketing opt-out: You may opt out of promotional emails at any time by clicking “Unsubscribe” in any marketing message or by updating your notification preferences in account settings. Transactional and account-related messages are not subject to opt-out.
- Data portability: You may request a copy of your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format by contacting us at privacy@tackgo.com.
- Location data: GPS location data is transmitted only during active hauler trips. You may disable location sharing on your device at the cost of reduced trip tracking functionality.
If you are a resident of California, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with specific privacy legislation, you may have additional rights under applicable law, including rights of rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and objection. Please contact us to exercise any such rights and we will respond as required by applicable law.

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, applications, and services that are not owned or controlled by TackGo. This Privacy Policy applies only to the TackGo Platform. TackGo is not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party service. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of every website or application you visit. The presence of a link on the Platform does not constitute an endorsement by TackGo.
10. Children's Privacy
The Platform is not directed at children under the age of 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you are under 18, please do not use the Platform or provide any personal information. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18 without verifiable parental consent, we will take steps to promptly delete that information. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. If you do not agree with the revised Policy, you should cease using the Platform and may request account deletion.
